For the majority of my professional career, I have worked with Microsoft systems to produce Intranet and Windows Client/Server distributed applications for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), which support customers and employees in daily efforts with purchasing, processing, and delivery of products and services. My efforts have been to support the complete lifecycle of the application by collecting requirements, specifying architecture, designing, and coding .

Since 1998, I have worked with executive management to clarify high level objectives and produce software applications in a timely manner to support business growth. In most cases, I was given a large amount of independence to justify and produce custom software. My programming teams usually included five or less individuals, consisting of two mid-level and three junior programmers working in a loosely structured environment.

At Adc Technologies, my experience was mainly research and development of WMS software applied to traditional client/server, Intranets, wireless Telnet devices and third party integration of Crystal Reports, Bartender, and freight systems like UPS and FEDX. I was solely responsible for the product life-cycle evolution from simple two-tier software through a three-tier client/server application to a complete n-tier, transaction based, system including EDI (sockets, http, ftp, dcom, and XML data services.).

Working at 9Net in Italy provided an opportunity to meet the challenge of understanding and solving IT issues in cultures other than the U.S. 9Net is an ISP and, as such, customer service and response time were of the highest importance. Starting with manual systems, the goal was to automate customer tasks related to additional services (odbc, ssl, and wap), purchasing, email and DNS service. Over two years, and three versions, the 9Net Control Panel is completely functional today and continues to support organizational growth. My best work was in addressing the maintainability requirements and properly training programmers before my departure. This has allowed the software to continue meeting the company's needs. The software I developed helped this company realize a growth from 1,000 customers to over 30,000 customers in that period of time.

My education, an Masters of Arts in Industrial Psychology, may seem unclear in its application to software design. Simply put, Industrial Psychology is the statistical study of populations and largely the mathematical interpretation of results. This education suits software development well in analyzing user requirements, graphic user interfaces (GUI) and usability analysis as well as more intricate methods of data analysis (correlation, multivariate, chi2) in data modeling and mining .

Crystal Reports (7, 8, and 8.5) lends itself very well to data modeling and analysis. I have extensive experience accessing the Crystal Reports API directly using either Reports created with the Crystal Designer or Dynamic Reports with Crystal 8.5 in VB6 or VBScript (http://www.developersdex.com/gurus/code/75.asp) Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) is a specialized form of data analysis and has many of the same issues pertaining to data warehouses and data marts. I am experienced in intergrating (or separating!) OLTP and OLAP systems to efficiently produce reports.

I am a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer ( MCSD ), which is Microsoft’s highest programmer certification, and will achieve the MCDBA certification in a month or two, as I've only to finish the Windows 2000 Server test. I have achieved these solely by experience and self-study. I believe I am well prepared to help your organization grow as I have advanced experience in database design, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Performance analysis and Transactions. Additionally, within the CRM and WMS software areas, I have extensive experience in E-Commerce bank transactions, fulfillment and delivery automation .
