Sr.
Programmer, Wyoming Dept. of Workforce Services, Casper, Wy July 2002 -
Present
Wyoming Job Network (WJN) http://onestop.state.wy.us
Primary duties are to maintain WJN web site, code enhancements, and troubleshoot application, architecture and server problems. The WJN implements and supports via Staff, Applicant and Employer Internet areas, the Workforce Investment Act and the Department of Labor Wagner-Peyser Act by collating data for state and federal funding requirements. Currently, the WJN
supports 30,000+ active applicants, 250+ employers and 200+ staff (located in approximately 19 brick + mortar locations). Technically, the WJN is a N-tier Microsoft web application. It is comprised of a Web UI (300+ HTML and JavaScript pages), a middle-tier COM+ layer of 30 VB6 COM objects, and a SQL Server consisting of 150+ stored procedures and 75+ database tables. WLB is used to balance user requests.

Wireless LAN Telnet Client
Analyze and code Easytrac Telnet client. The Telnet client uses RFSuperNet (rfsupernet.com) RF server to send and capture data (scanner, alphanumeric, auto-enter) from a wireless handheld. Symbol Technologies hardware is used in development and production systems.
Wireless LAN Windows CE 'Internet Explorer'
and Embedded Visual Basic project
(Slide 16)
Analyze and code Windows CE 3.0 WMS EasyTrac Wireless Intranet client. Additional “Proof of Concept” Easytrac client with eVb 3.0, ActiveSync 3.5, and ADOCE 3.1 was modeled for comparison. Projects were tested with the Pocket PC and HP Pro emulation.
Intranet Client project
(Slide 8)
Define scope, develop
specifications, code and test integrated Intranet client
application for “EasyTrac Warehouse Management” application
server. The Internet Client is an “Active Server Pages” WMS
application instancing the “EasyTrac” server (under MTS) and
using MS IIS server to display information. The client heavily
uses DHTML, Visual Interdev DTC controls, CSS and
client/server JavaScript to promote rapid application
development.
Distributed VB6.0 Client/Server
project
(Slide 4)
Analyze,
re-architect and code Windows Client/Server “EasyTrac
Warehouse Management System” WMS application. The class
modules support MTS Transaction features of Commit and
Rollback in an n-tier model. The program supports asynchronous
object communications (events and callbacks), DTC Distributed
Queries, SQLDMO to manipulate dB objects, third party
component integration of Crystal Reports 7 and Aristo
(Shipping & Tracking), and Package and deployment to
Win98, Win2000 and WinNT Operating Systems.

Control Panel 3.1 Disk Usage
Reporting and Analysis
(Slide 20)
Code: a) Poll shared hosting UX/NT servers (50+) to
report and update customer database with total disk usage per
IP address. b) Real-time analysis of ‘Used’ and ‘Available’
values to provide sustainable automation behavior of Control
Panel (CRM) by supporting ‘disk space’ purchase, usage and
analysis and enabling/un-enabling user interface functions.
This project supports VBScript, VB (COM), Pearl and Stored
Procs (SQL 7.0) in a NT server production environment.
